2. Onboarding Checklist
✓ Project Descriptions for academic year 2024-25 are required by April 15, 2024. Review Project Description Guidelines for instructions, requirements, and examples.
✓ Sponsorship Acknowledgments, Addendums, NDAs, and IP Agreements for academic year 2024-25 are required by April 30, 2024. Review Legal and Funding to download this year’s sponsor acknowledgment and for sample NDA/IP Agreements.
✓ Summer Planning Meetings for academic year 2024-25 are required to begin by May 15, 2024. Schedule meeting series with your Data Mine contact using our Calendly Home Page.
✓ Project Charters for academic year 2024-25 are required by May 29, 2024. Review Project Charter Guidelines for instructions, requirements, and examples.
✓ Data Sharing for academic year 2024-25 is required by June 31, 2024. Review Technical Resources for instructions on our three modes of sharing data: Purdue’s Compute Resources (Anvil), Virtual Desktop, or sending Laptops.
✓ Develop a Student Engagement Strategy before term starts on August 19, 2024. Review Mentor Best Practices for considerations on how to best work with students and young professionals.
✓ Become familiar with The Data Mine Logistics before term starts on August 19, 2024. Review Logistics and learn about Microsoft Team platforms, email lists, rosters, NDA signing, data sharing, meeting time blocking, and Anvil access.
3. Renewal
We look forward to building lasting relationships with you, our Corporate Partners, and fostering a deep connection over years of partnering together. The renewal process for the next academic year (August - May) starts in January, but please note that we are delighted to discuss additional projects at any time.
