Important Note: Wednesday, 11/26 - Saturday, 11/29: Thanksgiving break (No Classes)
No changes to classes on Monday (Nov 24) and Tuesday (Nov 25), all labs and meetings as usual before Thanksgiving break.
Sprint Tasks
✓ Final Presentation
Why: Your final presentation is a chance to showcase the value of your work this semester — the progress your team has made and the goals you’ve set for the future. This is an important opportunity to demonstrate impact to your CRP mentors and The Data Mine staff.
What: Please review the following Guidelines for the Final Presentation: Final Fall Presentation Details. During this sprint, your team should complete the final version of your presentation. Your team will present it during the final week of the term (December 8–12) at your regular mentor meeting time, unless otherwise scheduled with your CRP mentors or The Data Mine staff.
Final Presentation Due:
- Final Version: Due Friday, December 5, 2025 at 11:59 PM ET (Sprint 7). Late work will not be accepted.
Your TA will submit the presentation on behalf of the entire team.
✓ Professional Development
During this sprint, you’ll provide feedback about professional development this semester and explore a topic that interests you.
1. Professional Development Feedback
Why: Your feedback is one of the most important ways you can help shape this program. The Professional Development assignments you completed this semester were designed to strengthen soft skills such as teamwork, communication, conflict resolution, and Agile practices among others. These skills are just as important as technical knowledge when working with Corporate Partners and in your future career. Last year’s feedback led to major improvements, and your input this semester will help make these assignments even more valuable for future students.
What: Reflect on the Professional Development assignments you completed this semester. Share what was most useful, what could be improved, and any gaps you think we should address in the future. Your perspective ensures these assignments continue to evolve in ways that support you and those who come after you.

What: Complete the Corporate Partners Mid-year Final Report via Qualtrics. You will be graded on effort and completion. Honesty is appreciated so we can continue to improve The Data Mine Corporate Partners.
Where: Follow the Qualtrics link to complete and submit the final report. You do not need to submit anything in Gradescope. You will receive an email shortly after your submission with your answers as confirmation your report was received.
