✓ Grade Sprint Report #5
update me. |
The Sprint Report serves both as part of the course grading requirements and as a way to give you insight into where each team member stands in their work and how they are thinking about the project.
-
Self-Evaluation highlights how students view their presence, contributions, and collaboration.
-
Mid-Semester Checkpoint highlights the work students feel most proud of, giving insight into their progress and what they value in their contributions. Students also relect on their team’s core values, which can inform you of team dynamics and areas for growth.
-
Implementation Check shows how students put into practice the tasks connected to Professional Development.
Grading: Evaluate reports objectively based on the rubric, the evidence students provide, your observations from sessions, and the required number of sentences. Fair grading ensures accountability and consistency across the team and program. |
Due: on Gradescope by Wed, Nov 19, 2025 @ 11:59 PM ET
✓ Complete Team Report #5
This report captures your responsibilities as a TA (Scrum Master) and your team’s progress in Sprint 5. It helps you reflect on what has been completed, what still needs attention, and what’s next. It also provides your liaison with the context they need to offer support.
Note: Please complete this report after grading Sprint Report #5 submissions.
Due: on Gradescope by Wed, Nov 19, 2025 @ 11:59 PM ET
✓ Final Presentation Draft
To wrap up the semester, your team will prepare a presentation highlighting project progress and future goals. This is your team’s opportunity to showcase the impact of their work — what they’ve accomplished and how it contributes value to the corporate partner and The Data Mine.
Please review the following Guidelines for the Final Presentation: Final Presentation Guide. During this sprint, your team should complete a first draft of your presentation and continuing working on this presentation until the final week of term when you will present to your CRP mentors and the Data Mine staff.
Guide your team through the following steps as they prepare the Final Fall Presentation:
✓ Start the presentation early. Begin outlining slides, structure, and key talking points.
✓ Assign speaking roles. Confirm each member’s part and identify backup speakers in case someone is unavailable.
✓ Review content alignment. Make sure the presentation connects to project goals, progress, and next steps.
✓ Reference the guide. Review both the Final Presentation Guide and Final Presentation Information pages for guidance.
